Cleaning Pots & Pans
Cleaning copper bottom pots and pans.
With the holidays approaching, I had cleaned our copper bottom pans in time for Thanksgiving. I was on quite the cleaning kick and wanted everything to look nice for our Thanksgiving guests, so I cleaned all of our copper bottom pans while I was at it. We have a gas stove and the heat darkens them with use. Not the end of the world and it obviously doesn’t change the actual use of the pans when they aren’t like-new shiny, but they look so much better all cleaned up, so I pulled them all out to clean them.
This is the before they were cleaned and this is only half the copper bottom pans we have.
To clean these, I just grabbed my Bar Keepers Friend, some steel wool and a little bit of water.
I put my Bar Keepers Friend in a taller, wide-mouth mason jar with lids I found on Amazon. This way I can see how much I have left and to me it is just more aesthetically pleasing to the eye. I then grabbed my Brother P-Touch label maker and printed out a label for it, since I use these for a few different cleaners. I will post a link below for these items.
There are 3 different sized holes on these lids and a spot that closes the top as well. This is the medium sized hole section.
Here is the after. All cleaned up, shiny and good as new!
See below for links to what I used for this and let me know in the comments below what you think! Thanks for stopping by!!
